We are here primarily to provide an avenue for the spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ so that all may know and believe in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through the Holy Bible that I call the "Manual of Life". Our secondary mission is to provide solid biblical doctrines and truths so as to grow in your relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Thirdly, we are here to help in a variety of different ways by providing different types of material to help you grow spiritually in in your relationship with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour and to assist YOU to also spread the gospel of Jesus Christ which is in compliance with the Great Commission. Jesus tells us we are to "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world." Ref: Matt 28:16-20 The Great Commission is a 4 part task: a) Go b) Teach all nations c) Baptize and d) discipleship - teach others so that they may teach others to continue to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through these goals we are spreading the good news of the gospel which is a tenant of our Christian faith so that all may know the truth of what they believe and why! Studying the Word of God is a rewarding experience and the information obtained can be used for the rest of your life (hence the name "Manual of Life") here on earth but more importantly for eternity! reference: "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" - 2Tim 2:15. "All scripture is given by inspiration by God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" - 2Tim 3:16. The Bible is your life guide in all matters. These three verses are part of a core Christian doctrine that is built on biblical truths and the God of the Bible. Core principles I call them and they are at the core of our faith. These core principles or truths is something that the church needs to get back to. The proper teaching of the gospel is key to this task. With these biblical truths we become defenders of our faith. Today we find the message of Jesus Christ diluted and/or by some for "political correctness". This is not right and we must get back to the basics of biblically sound Christian doctrine and defending our faith to any and all. The blood of Jesus Christ was shed for all, and was buried and 3 days later he arose from the dead and defeated death and Satan. The study of the bible is the key to Christian core knowledge and understanding and topics for studying the Bible are numerous, but we encourage all to initially look at: Jesus Christ and his diety ref: John 1:1-3 and John 5:17. For example in John 1:1-3 states Jesus Christ was involved in creation. Personal salvation - God's gift through us through Jesus Christ. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23, KJV Sin and it's relationship to man Faith - What is faith? Hebrews 10:38 says "Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him." See also Habakkuk 2:4! Without faith - no works and consequently without works - no faith. These two, faith and works go hand in hand! Later on in your journey with Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit, look at: angels and demons, re-incarnation, the Holy Spirit, creation, adoption, the "rapture", prophecy and end times with the ultimate return of Jesus Christ to reign forever! |
It is not about religion where our faith is centered. Our faith is centered only on Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, came to earth as a man, was crucified for our sins by an act of grace, was buried and rose again. Jesus Christ is our Saviour and is alive and well! We believe that he will return to the earth for his people. The trinity is basic doctrine and it is defendable against all other faiths! Based on these truths I can say for certain it is better to know Jesus Christ before you have to meet him when he returns! Question: Is baptism a requirement for salvation? I wrote a paper on this subject in the Fall of 2008 while attending Covenant Bible Seminary in Lakewood, WA. Reading excerpts from my paper answers this question. Baptism for Salvation Question: What is a marriage and who defines it? Marriage defined! Galations 1 gives a great look at what is to be preached from the pulpit. (As a side bar- take a look at what the requirements of the various church offices. The book of Titus is a great reference). The gospel of Jesus Christ as presented in the Bible by Jesus Christ is the only true gospel. For if anyone preach any other gospel, let him be accursed! "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." - Acts 4:12 Genesis 1:1 states "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth..." The existence of God is not debated, it is proclaimed in this verse therefore his existence is a given asa an absolute fact. Rest assured the truth of Jesus Christ and the Gospel will set all men free and therefore all can know the truth in Jesus Christ. Email me at robert(at)manualoflifeministries.org with any comments! We are holding fast to God's inerrant Holy Word to us, the Holy Bible and are always preparing more to defend our faith! The diety of Jesus Christ is also a foundation of our faith! in Christ Copyright Manual of Life Ministries, last updated April 20, 2025 |
